Kate Hudson says Goldie Hawn encouraged her to focus on sons

Actress Kate Hudson has said that she always turns to her mother Goldie Hawn when it comes to seeking advice on parenting.
Kate Hudson, who followed her mother into the acting business, said that the yesteryear actress, encouraged her to focus on sons, Ryder, nine and 20-month-old Bingham because that's where she would find happiness.
"I have always been fiery, I go after things," said Kate Hudson, 33."But what I learned from my mother is to step back and actually experience things that are happening. I always remember her saying there's only one thing in life she refused to fail at - raising her children. It just shows you it's very possible to do the thing that makes you happy and still raisea wonderful family," she added.
