London:
Hollywood beauty Kate Winsletfinds working on small screen hectic and gruelling compared tofilms.
The Oscar-winning star, who began her career in TVwith minor roles in little-known shows like Dark Season and Get Back is going back to her roots with new mini-series Mildred Pierce, a role which won actress Joan Crawford anOscar for her 1945 movie of the same name, Contactmusicreported.
The Titanic star said that she struggled to adjustto the long working hours and gruelling TV schedule despiteworking so many years in Hollywood.
"It never occurred to me, beyond the moment of readingthose scripts, 'Wow, this is television, therefore it's goingto be different somehow'. Sure, we have more to shoot... butthe level of determination and level of focus was so much moreintense than certainly any film I've ever been a part (of),"said the 35-year-old British actress.
"Television is so much harder. It didn't affect thework ethic in any way other than we had more story to tell, which was a luxury, and less time to work to that goal. Butthat just meant we were hyper-focused," she added.
