Actress Katie Holmes has cancelledher first public appearance since her split from actor husbandTom Cruise.
The Dawson's Creek star, 33, was due to attend DizzyFeet Foundation gala on Saturday but her spokesman said thatHolmes has decided to pull out of the event, being held at theDorothy Chandler Pavilion at the Los Angeles Music Centre.
Katie is a board member for the Dizzy Feet Foundation, anon-profit organisation which supports dance education,reported Daily Mail.
The Celebration Of Dance event saw performances fromGlee stars Harry Shum Jr and Chord Overstreet andcontestants from So You Think You Can Dance and DancingWith the Stars.
