Katie Holmes threw asurprise party for husband Tom Cruise a day before hisbirthday.
Cruise turned 49 on July 3 and Holmes, 32, planned tocelebrate it with a secret dinner party for 40 of theirclosest friends at the SoHo Beach House in Miami, Peoplemagazine reported.
"Katie planned everything herself," said a source.The bash took place on the roof and inside theprivate venue and guests enjoyed pasta, shrimp and otherItalian dishes, in addition to a chocolate birthday cake.
"Katie has been very excited and actually did theRSVPs herself. She wanted to be sure everything was justright," the source added.
