Nobody was surprised when Katie Price, a.k.a Jordan,admitted her marriage to cage fighter Alex Reid was on the brink of collapseand now the glamour model and reality star has reportedly called in her lawyersto discuss divorce proceedings.
"Kate is being quite clever and is keeping Alex hanging on while she worksout what to do," dailystar.co.uk quoted a friend as saying. "Thatmeans he has stayed in the house and she knows exactly what he's up to. She hasbeen holding him to ransom as he tries to patch things up. Kate has told palsthat Alex can never do a kiss-and-tell because she knows all the dirty secretsfrom his past," the friend added.
It could get ugly for the soon-to-be-exes as a cursory lookat Katie's life and times reveals a past more colourful than Alex Reid's islikely to be. Famous for being famous, Katie divorced singer Peter Andre tomarry Reid only four months later. She also previously dated a string ofsingers and footballers, including Teddy Sheringham and Dwight Yorke with whomshe has a son.
The 32 year old star recently confirmed her marriage crisison Twitter but also said she remained positive about her future with Reid. Thecouple even jetted off to an island in the Indian Ocean to work on theirproblems but their attempt at reconciliation seems to have ended in failure.
