Granted, that Miss Kaif has been in the Hindi film industry for more than a decade, and her latest release Baar Baar Dekho with Sidharth Malhotra wasn't a complete wash-out, however, many in the online universe believe that the decision by the Priyadarshini Academy, the NGO conducting these awards, may be an insult to the memory and acting prowess of the late actress who won immense critical acclaim for her performances in films like Manthan, Bhumika and Arth.
In spite of a massive fan following, Katrina's nomination for the award is so surprising to many that it wasn't long before Twitter exploded with jokes, and started trolling the actress.
