Katrina Kaif has seen offcompetition from Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra to emergeas the most downloaded celebrity on mobile phones in the year2012.
The Ek Tha Tiger star continued to maintain the leadingposition in the category of images downloaded for the fourthconsecutive year, followed by Kareena, Priyanka, AnushkaSharma and Vidya Balan, according to the findings of AirtelMobitude 2012.
Shah Rukh Khan led in the category of Bollywood actors'wallpaper downloads, with Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn, AkshayKumar and Ranbir Kapoor in the top five. Aamir Khan did notfare in this list for the third year in a row.
South India showed a strong traction for imagery, withTollywood sensation Trisha seeing downloads 325 per centhigher than the numbers seen for top 5 Bollywood actors puttogether.
Popular song Kolaveri Di, continued to maintain the topposition in 2012 as well. Though reasonably popular, theworldwide rage Gangnam Style did not experience similarsuccess among mobile internet users in India and could notbeat Kolaveri Di's strong local success.The song Teri Meri from Bodyguard ranked second inthis segment, lagging behind by 20 per cent.Dabangg topped charts as the most viewed movie onAirtel Video Talkies, while Singham led on Airtel AudioTalkies.
