Ranbir Kapoor may have spent a couple of days recuperating from his tonsil surgery right after his birthday on September 28, but it seems that his rumoured girlfriend Katrina Kaif also had to make a quick stop at the emergency room.
The actress, who held a surprise birthday bash for Ranbir, apparently took her job as the hostess too seriously and burnt her thumb while lighting the candles on Ranbir's birthday cake.
Minor injuries apart, the rumoured lovebirds will finally start shooting for Jagga Jasoos, Ranbir's first home production with Anurag Basu and have a difficult but fun shooting stint to look forward to. The actors will be busy filming the project in Mumbai, Manipur and Thailand for next the three months.
So, while Katrina may have burnt her hand with the candles, the other flame continues to burn bright.
