Bollywood stunner Katrina Kaif may look like she could'nt hurt a fly but her Tees Maar Khan co-star Akshay Kumar has evidence to the contrary. The actor got in the way of his leading lady's fist while shooting for the film.
Speaking to reporters, Akshay said "We were shooting for the song Bade Dilwala and Katrina got so involved in her dance that she actually hit me hard with her elbow. The impact was such that the shooting had to be stalled for two hours". Akshay, Katrina and director Farah Khan are in Delhi to promote their movie, releasing on Friday, December 24.
The capital gave the stars a rousing welcome and were rewarded with an impromptu performance of item number Sheila Ki Jawani. "When we shoot for any song, there are often many cuts but I enjoy performing in front of live audiences because the response makes me feel good", said Akshay after the performance.
Akshay and Katrina also shook a leg to Bade Dilwala on demand, and Katrina showed off her newly acquired fluency in Hindi when speaking to fans. Akshay also proved he was a real life Bade Dilwala when he spotted a little girl in tears because she couldn't get to the stage. He called her on stage and cheered her up by dancing with her.
