Wide Awake singer Katy Perry was spotted heading into the luxury Beverly Hills hotel on Sunday (05.08.12) just minutes after the infamous womaniser singer John Mayer- who she has been spotted with several times since last week - had stepped through its doors.
The 27-year-old star was smiling and carrying a small wrapped gift as she entered the lobby to meet the long-haired singer.
The couple were first romantically linked last Wednesday (01.08.12) when they were spotted leaving exclusive Hollywood nightspot Chateau Marmont.
Gravity singer John - who has dated Jennifer Aniston, Cameron Diaz, Jessica Simpson and Taylor Swift in the past - was seen dropping Katy off in his Ferrari the next day after the couple had allegedly spent the night together.
A source said at the time: "They're just hooking up right now. It's not serious - yet!"
The pair were also spied dining at Los Angeles' Pace restaurant last week.
Katy's divorce from Russell Brand was finalised in July.
The British comedian - who was married to the Firework hitmaker for14 months until they split in December 2011 - has since moved on to date Isabella Brewster whilst Katy was romantically linked to Florence+ The Machine guitarist Robert Akroyd before she began dating John.
