star Katy Perry is struckdown with food poisoning and was forced to cancel a number ofconcerts on her California Dreams tour.
The 26-year-old Teenage Dream hitmaker, who iscurrently performing across the US is suffering from "severedehydration" as a result of the sudden illness, reportedFemalefirst online.
"I apologise to my fans in Chicago and the Twin Citiesfor not being able to perform this weekend, but I am going toreturn in a few weeks to give them the very best show ever,"Perry said.
This isn't the first mishap she has suffered while ontour, Perry recently had to hire a cat whisperer to controlher and husband Russell Brand's trio of unruly felines,Krusty, Kitty Purry and Morrissey, who kept misbehaving whileshe was on the road.
"He realigned their chakras and did some hypnosis. Wewere like, 'Wow, this is extravagant," she said.
