Pop star Katy Perry says her upcoming 3D concert movie, Katy Perry: Part of Me will hit screens this summer.
Perry, 27, has premiered a first TV spot for the documentary during the 2012 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards, Ace Showbiz reported.
The 30-second promotional video presents real footagethat shows the Firework hitmaker's rocketing career from when she was a church singer to the time she became a pop sensation.
"My concert documentary is coming out Fourth of July weekend. Go and see it and be a firework!" she said.
Katy Perry: Part of Me is designed as a concert-documentary movie hybrid, which aims to show thesinger's life on and off the stage as well as gives a fan's perspective on the songstress.
The movie is directed by Magical Elves, which consists of Dan Cutforth and Jane Lipsitz. The duo had previously worked as the producers for Justin Bieber's successful concert documentary, "Justin Bieber: Never Say Never".
