Tonight's episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 9 was a brief one with Shashikanth from Chattisgarh as the first contestant on the Hot Seat. For Shashikanth and his family, it was like a 'dream come true' experience, revealed his daughter. The father-daughter duo had harboured the dream of being on the Hot Seat for 17 long years and now one of them was there. Shashikanth's who is a tour guide in Agra, said he was asked to try his luck on Amitabh Bachchan's show by his students - he was a teacher previously. In previous sessions, Shashikanth's daughter had also made it to the Fastest Finger First round but could not be on the Hot Seat.
Shashikanth, who is proficient in a slew of languages, stunned Big B with his shuddh Hindi. Shashikanth described Amitabh Bachchan in the most shuddh form of Hindi that required quite a bit of concentration on Big B's part to fathom. However, Shashikanth could only go home with Rs 10,000. He required the first few Lifelines to tackle Level 1 and exhausted his last one - Jodidaar for the question worth Rs 80,000. Having run out of options, Shashikanth took a chance on the show with the next answer - which turned out to be incorrect.
