Chennai: Actor Sundeep Kishan will star in the Telugu remake of the Malayalam film Neram, which will reportedly feature Keerthy Suresh in the lead role.
"The makers are talking to Keerthy Suresh and Ashna Zaveri. Keerthy will get the role most likely, which was originally played by Nazriya," a source from the film's unit told IANS.
In an official statement, the makers confirmed that the remake, which will be made by Anil Kanneganti, will officially go on floors on December 12.
The film will be produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri of Pixel Dreams India and released by Anil Sunkara.
Neram featured Nivin Pauly in the lead role.
