Atonement star Keira Knightleywants to improve her culinary skills and has turned to hermother for guidance.
The 27-year-old actress, who recently got engaged tomusician James Righton, is starting with the basic rules inthe kitchen, reported Femalefirst online.
"I am an alright cook. Not brilliant, but alright. Mymum's a really good cook, but we had a really small kitchen,so she could never actually teach me any of the stuff that shemade. But now she is starting to," Knightley said.
"I have gotten really good recipes, which are excellent. Iam good at, like, a one-pot dish. It is the timing. I alwayswalk away at a wrong point. And then everything burns! Butstews and curries, I am good at that," she added.
Knightley also said that she does not have many celebrityfriends, whom she could call during a crisis.
"I don't have celebrity friends like that. I mean, I haveones that I would kind of call up to say, 'Hello, how are you?How is everything going?' But no, my friends are not actors,"she said.
