London:
Kelly Clarkson celebrated her 30th birthday by going turkey shooting.
The Stronger singer reached the milestone age in April but rather than have a big party, she and her boyfriend Brandon Blackstock went hunting instead.
She said: "I just had my 30th birthday and we went turkey shooting. It's what I wanted to do, so we went."
Kelly also admitted she is amused by rumours about her sexuality, but is hopeful her current relationship will put them to rest.
She laughed to Lucky magazine: "Oh, there's all these rumours that I'm a lesbian. Anyway. I have a boyfriend now, Brandon Blackstock, my manager Narvel's son, Reba McEntire's stepson."
Kelly - who shot to fame after winning the first series of American Idol - admitted she sometimes struggles with perceptions about being a "pop star" and fighting against the "rules" to do the things she wants.
She said: "The hardest thing about being in this business is just being able to be yourself.
"People act like there's this one set of rules to follow to be a pop star, and I think, Well, you say I'm a pop star, so maybe that's not true."
