After a successful run on small screen, the Khichdi family is making a transition to the big screen and they want Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan to wish them well.
The Khichdi actors have written a letter to Shah Rukh seeking his best wishes as the actor too started his career from television serials like Fauji and Circus.
The big screen adaptation of Khichdi, which made Parekh family and its members Hansa, Praful, Babuji, Himanshu and Jayshree household names, will be released by Fox Star Studios on October 1.
"We have written a letter to Shah Rukh Khan, we have written it in a language we all understand. In the letter we have expressed our gratitude towards him for the path he has lead for us. He is one of the most important icons of Hindi cinema and so we want to salute him through this letter," said producer JD Majethia.
