"He stunned all of us as an actor. His role in the film is very close to how he is as a person," Kiara said here in an interview. "He is very natural, very spontaneous. He is hilarious in the film. His comic timing is outstanding," she added.
Fugly, which is releasing tomorrow, also features newcomers Mohit Marwah, Arfi Lamba along with Jimmy Shergill.
Kiara said working with Vijender, who is also making his acting debut with the film, was a learning experience for other newcomers.
"Unlike us, he used to come on the sets and pick everything very well. Also, he was very disciplined," said Kiara.
Produced by Akshay Kumar and Ashwini Yardi's Grazing Goat Pictures, Fugly has been directed by Kabir Sadanand.
