Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukerji were among the many stars that attended this year's 2022 Kolkata International Film Festival that began on Thursday. A verified fan page on Twitter dedicated to SRK shared a couple of pictures of the actor from the ceremony. However, the Internet was most thrilled to see Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukerji reunite and a picture of them from the event started trending in no time. Rani Mukerji and Shah Rukh Khan starred in multiple films together including Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (all three directed by Karan Johar), Chalte Chalte, Paheli and Veer-Zaara, to name a few.

Shah Rukh Khan has a super busy schedule ahead. Other than Pathaan, Shah Rukh Khan will be seen in Rajkumar Hirani's Dunki, co-starring Taapsee Pannu. He will also star in Atlee's Jawan with Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi. SRK made a few cameo appearances in films this year. He had a special appearance in Madhavan's Rocketry: The Nambi Effect and also in Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's Brahmastra. SRK has also been fairly active as a producer in the last few years. He co-produced Darlings, which marked Alia Bhatt's debut as a film producer.
In terms of work, Rani Mukerji was last seen in Bunty Aur Babli 2. The actress will also be seen in a film titled Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway, which will be directed by Ashima Chibber and produced by Rani's husband Aditya Chopra. Rani Mukerji's filmography includes hits as well as critically acclaimed movies like Black, Hum Tum, Bunty Aur Babli, the Mardaan series, Saathiya, Talaash, Hichki among many others.
