New Delhi: With new version of Mahabharat coming on air soon, veteran actress Kiran Sippy still feels that the older generation will miss the original version of the show.

The actress played Ganga in B.R Chopra's Mahabharat.

"They will have an emotional attachment and have an emotional connect. They will compare and feel that the earlier one was better," Kiran said.

But, the actress feels that the newer generation will not compare the new show with previous one.

"Today, a whole new generation is watching TV. The old Mahabharat was made in the 1980s. The youngsters today have not watched that version and therefore will not make any comparisons," she said.

Kiran is convinced that the newer version of the show is much more updated.

"It is too early to comment on the newer version. But I am sure it must have been updated and changed," she said.

Star Plus' Mahabharat is scheduled to air on September 16. The show features Samir Dharmadhikari, Shayantani Ghosh, Aarav Chaudhary, Arpit Ranka, Puneet Issar, Praneet Bhatt, Saurabh Jain, Ratan Rajput and Pooja Sharma.
