Aamir Khan is one of the most celebrated creative minds in the country. As an actor and a filmmaker, he has a reputation for being a perfectionist. But if there is one area where the multi-hyphenate flounders – at least according to his co-star Kareena Kapoor – it is the fashion department. On Thursday, Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor arrived together as guests on the celebrity talk show,Koffee With Karan. And on the episode, one of the segments titled “Actor Trolling Actor” had the two stars asking each other uncomfortable questions, which Karan described as an “intervention of sorts.”
And, even after the segment was over, Aamir Khan seemed curious to take a look at the remaining questions. So, he went through the remaining cue cards and found a question that caught his eye. “I want to see what's written on them. What tricks you use on people,” the actor tells Karan Johar, before landing on, “On a scale of 1-10, rate my fashion sense.” Kareena Kapoor and Karan Johar burst out laughing at the question.
Then, Kareena Kapoor goes into her iconic Poo mode and says, “Non-applicable.” To this, Aamir Khan says, “She means there is no fashion sense.”
Karan Johar then tells Aamir Khan that if he was a real fan of Poo, the character, he would know the catchphrases, “Non-applicable” and “Minus.” The filmmaker then asks Kareena Kapoor to answer again as Poo to which, she says “Minus.”
It is then that Aamir Khan confesses that he shares a funny relationship with clothes. Speaking about how his ex-wife Kiran Rao is often exasperated with his choice of clothes, Aamir says, “Kiran and I have this standard joke. I have weird 3/4th pants. They fit here (pointing to right below his knees). With an elastic. They have a weird shape. But I find them very comfortable. So, when I'm going out, Kiran asks me, "What are you wearing?" I say, "I am wearing my 3/4ths," and she says, "Come on, you can't be wearing that."”
Aamir Khan then adds that it has become a daily routine of sorts for Kiran and him. “We do this daily and we enjoy it. Finally, she chooses what I have to wear.”
Karan Johar then chips in to ask why he wears "dhoti pants" and adds that he has seen even Kiran Rao wearing them. “Are you wearing her clothes?” To this, Aamir Khan unabashedly admits, “I have worn some of her clothes. Her loose pants,” as Kareena and Karan laugh out loud.

On the work front, Kareena Kapoor and Aamir Khan will be seen in Laal Singh Chadha, which will release in theatres on August 11. The film is the official adaptation of Forrest Gump.
