New Delhi:
Can you handle the Koffee Karan Johar serves on his talk show? If yes, you're game for this. Karan Johar clearly is a fan of the covfefe aka coffee, which is brewed on his show Koffee With Karan and perhaps wants more of it. Karan marked the International Coffee Day with a tweet on Sunday, asking fans and followers if they too are up for another season of the much talked about TV show. "I may have changed the spelling but the love for it remains... season 6 anyone?" tweeted Karan only to witness responses pour in like crazy. Yes, Twitter wants. Folks on the Internet want. We too want Koffee With Karan Season 6. The last season wrapped with a special panel of celebrities comprising actresses Malaika Arora and Neha Dhupia, AIB's Rohan Joshi and director Ayan Mukherjee ranking the best moments of the show.
Karan's tweet, posted earlier today, got over 280 retweets and 4,000 'likes' within one fourth of a day and can be considered as a teaser of an impending next season. Twitter is super excited about the proposal and just cannot keep calm. "Please please please. And let's get beyond the actors, this time. Directors, producers, critics, technicians, legends? Please?" read a tweet while another added: "Season 6 Should come as soon as possible."
However small it may be, but a section of Twitter also responded coldly to Karan's tweet. "Will you ask questions besides the stars' sex life? If not, then no thanks," read a comment but many others suggested their favourite guests to be included this time. Fans were rooting for Deepika Padukone, Fawad Khan, Ayushmann Khurrana and Aditi Rao Hydari. Some also asked Kangana Ranaut to be called on the show again. In the last season, Kangana appeared on Karan's show and tagged him as the 'flagbearer of nepotism' in Bollywood, which later snowballed into a huge controversy.
