Kumkum Bhagya: A still from the show

The Kumkum Bhagya episode, which aired on December 22, began with Purab and Pragya arriving at the Lonavala police station. Purab and Pragya met an inebriated Abhishek, who was locked up in the police station. Pragya and Purab arrived to meet Abhi at the police station to try and release him. While Pragya and Purab attempted to convince the cop that Abhi was intoxicated and was unaware of what he was doing, Abhi created havoc at the police station. Tanu, who was with Abhi, was also at the police station but was not released by Purab and Pragya. Purab also called dadi to communicate the good news. Pragya also spotted reprimanded Tanu, who threatened to ruin Pragya's happiness. Pragya in turn asked her to keep her behaviour in check.
A little back story here: Abhishek and Tanu drove down to Lonavala for shooting an advert but Tanu had separate plans in mind. Tanu spiked Abhi's drinks and wanted to execute the plans she had chalked out with Abhi's sister Aaliya. Meanwhile, Purab was already informed by his secretary and was on his way to Lonavala with Pragya in tow. Their car broke down on the way - that is when they informed the police about a probable mishap. The police raided the hotel where Tanu and Abhi had put up, and hence the duo landed in jail.
Meanwhile, Mitali overheard dadi's phone conversation with Purab and informed Aaliya that things did not go according to their plan. Mitali also told Aaliya that Pragya and Purab are on their way back to the Mehra residence with Abhi. Aaliya began worrying about her best friend, Tanu.
Once out of the police station, Purab asked Abhi what he remembers about last night. Abhi faintly recollected that Tanu had indeed mixed something with his drink. In the sneak peek of the next episode, Tanu is seen calling Aaliya and asking for help. Will Aaliya be on her way to help Tanu?
