Kumkum Bhagya, November 28, Written Update: Abhishek Will 'Always' Be By Pragya's Side

New Delhi: Things did not fall in place for the antagonists of Kumkum Bhagya. Sriti Jha's popular TV serial, in which Shabbir Ahluwalia features as the male lead, witnesses certain key developments in the story. Shabbir, who plays rockstar Abhishek Mehra was expected to be affected by the sudden announcement of Pragya's pregnancy, which has been faked by the reports prepared by Tanushree or Tanu and Aliya. Tania, played by Leena Jumani, is Abhi's ex-girlfriend on the show while Shikha Singh features as Aliya, Abhi's sister. Their ploy to cast Pragya in bad light backfired as Abhi was spotted apologising to Pragya for losing his temper at her. Abhishek was simply upset with Pragya for not sharing about her pregnancy.

The show starts when Abhishek and Pragya bump into each other and strike up a conversation. Abhi says he will never let Pragya leave the Mehra house as cannot function without her. She is her confidante and most trustworthy partner. He even assures Pragya that she will always find him by her side, no matter what. Soon, he enquires about the father of the child and plans to give him a piece of mind for getting Pragya in trouble.

A change of scene later, Pragya's mother, Sarla Arora, played by Supriya Shukla, visits Dr Shobha - one who faked the pregnancy reports on Aliya and Tanu's orders. Sarla senses something wrong and repeatedly appeals to the better nature of the doctor to reveal truth but Dr Shobha appears adamant. Sarla is irked and accuses her of staining characters with falsehood forcing Dr Shobha to even want to call the cops. Sarla breaks down and wants to know what sort of enmity she has with her daughter. The doctor finally confesses of having made fake reports but refuses to help Sarla bring out the truth in public.

Meanwhile, Abhishek's cousin, Raj Ajay Mehra, played by Anurag Sharma, figures out Aliya and Tanu's plan and wants to confront the notorious duo. Dadi, played by Daljeet Soundh, warns him reiterating that Aliya and Tanu are not to be messed with. They can turn on Raj anytime if he appears to be a threat to their plan. Raj takes Dadi's advice while she also asks them to wait till Sarla sees it through.

At another time, Aliya and Pragya are seen contemplating the repercussions of their move. Aliya says Pragya will never be able to come out of this mess but Tanu highlights that this should not call for a celebration. Tanu wonders what Pragya is upto and what is she plotting against them as she is not a person to simply let things pass. Aliya reaffirms that there's no counter attack to their masterstroke.

Busy in conversation, the duo bump into Pragya's mother rushing out of the Mehra residence. They start passing snide remarks citing Pragya's pregnancy and even suggest abortion. Sarla, who is no aware of the truth, finds it difficult to keep her temper in check threatens to come back with a befitting move and reveal their true characters to Abhishek. Tanu asks her to tone it down and threatens to do something worse to her.

Abhishek and Pragya's screen presence is like a breath of fresh air amidst the hullabaloo. The episode comes to an end with a sneak peek of the next one, in which Abhishek attempts to surprise Pragya with a dress, which ultimately turns out to be shopped for the baby, Pragya is supposedly expecting.
