While promoting his film Bhaag Johnny, Kunal said, "She doesn't interfere in my films. And the final decision is always our own." However, the actor also clarified that they generally discussed projects with each other.
"We generally discuss projects that we're doing. We respect each other as professionals - because we've been doing that before we met each other," he said.
Kunal and Soha dated for several years before getting married in an intimate ceremony in January this year.
Soha, who intends to work after marriage, will be seen opposite Sunny Deol in the sequel to Ghayal.
Kunal, who is returning to the big screen after a gap of two years with Bhaag Johnny, says that the USP of the film is its story.
"It's the first time that such story and screenplay technique is being showed on screen. But yet it is presented in a simple way so that audiences don't remain confused about the film," the actor said.
Directed by Shivamm Nair, Bhaag Johnny also stars Zoa Morani, Mandana Karimi and Manasi Scott and is scheduled to release on September 25.
