Frances Bean Cobain, the only childof Courtney Love and the late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain,has made a foray into modelling.
Appearing older than her 19-years, Frances looksintensely down the camera lens in the series of black andwhite shots, which has been shot bydesigner-turned-photographer Hedi Slimane, reportedContactmusic.
In one of the snaps, she is shown smoking against a chainfence while leaning against a ripped American flag. Othershots reveal her series of tattoos, one of which read, "L'artest la Solution du Chaos".
Frances worked as an intern for Rolling Stone magazinefrom June to August 2008, she later provided guest vocals forthe band Evelyn Evelyn.
In July 2010, she released her debut collection ofartwork under the pseudonym Fiddle Tim at the La Luz deJesus Gallery in Los Angeles. Her recent foray into modellinghas also seen Cobain pose for fashion photographer RockyScenck in a series of 50's movie star themed shots.
Frances has always had a strained relationship with hermother Courtney, who lost custody of her in 2009. In August2010, she reportedly inherited more than a third of her latefather's estate.
