Los Angeles:
Kate Hudson's step father Kurt Russell is hoping that she has a baby girl this time.
The 59-year-old actor who is the longtime partner of Hudson's mother Goldie Hawn said that he is overjoyed at the news of Hudson's pregnancy and wants a grand daughter this time, reported People magazine.
"It's fun having babies once again. We just really like that. And it's fun to watch them grow. It's fun to see what they're grasping. I think secretly we're all hoping for a girl," said the 'Stargate' actor.
The 31-year-old actress who has seven-year-old son with ex-husband Chris Robinson, is expecting a child with boyfriend Matthew Bellamy, 32, the British frontman for the rock group 'Muse'.
When enquired about any wedding plans by the soon-to-be parents, Russell says that, "No. I haven't heard any of that."
