Actor Ashton Kutcher has reportedly gifted estranged wife Demi Moore an eco-friendly car in an attempt to save their marriage.
Claims that Kutcher, 33, cheated on Moore with 23-year-old Sara Leal on their sixth wedding anniversary rocked their six-year-old marriage. Moore has filed for divorce.
The Two and a Half Men star spent over $ 100,000 on a 2012 Lexus LS 600h hybrid-engine vehicle for his wife's birthday on November 9, just a week before she announced they were splitting, reported TMZ.
It is not known if Moore, 49, accepted the gift, or if he gave it back to the car company.
It is said that the actress has reportedly instructed lawyers to punish Kutcher in their divorce.
"She is furious, raging in fact - you only have to look at every photo you see of her to see the toll Ashton's cheating has taken on her. She wants to punish him financially because of the way he has broken her heart. She is going to give him a bitter fight and, whether or not she wins, it will be an expensive lesson for him," a source said.
