Mumbai:
Actor Tusshar Kapoor, who is lookingforward to his upcoming film, Kyaa Super Kool Hai Hum, sayshis initial inhibition over acceptability of the sex comedyhas changed for better.
After the success of 2005 comedy Kyaa Kool Hai Hum,actors Tusshar Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh are back with thesequel, Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum. The duo will reprise theirroles from the previous part.
As Tusshar was little doubtful about the film, KyaaSuper Kool Hain Hum getting accepted by a set of audience forits 'bold' appeal, he organised a script reading session witha group of 50 and 60-year-olds.
During the reading sessions, he got reviews like "thisdoesn't look like a naughty comedy. It should have more comedyin it".
Taking the suggestions by face value, Tusshar convinceddirector Sachin Yardi to add some more 'spice' to the scriptand held the sessions once again with the group who liked theupgraded script.
"I was curious to know how the family audience in 2012would accept a naughty comedy in Kyaa Kool Hai Hum space. Therefore we toned down the raunchiness and narrated to somecouples, one version of the new KKHH. Surprisingly, most feltit was not as raunchy as the earlier one and it would be moreapt to make it as naughty if not more," Tusshar said.
"Therefore we kept the original bolder version and hadanother narration which was hugely appreciated by theserepresentative of family audience. It shows that over years afilm in the space of KKHH has become palatable for diversesections of the audience and this genre can now safelybe termed as Kool," he said.
Actors Neha Sharma and Sarah Jane Dias are newadditions in the sequel.
