Actor Manoj Bajpayee, whose latest film Lanka received lukewarm response at the box office, says it could have done well if it was promoted better.
The 42-year-old actor plays the character of a local gangster inspired by mythological demon king Raavan in theMaqbool Khan directed film, which also stars Tia Bajpai and Arjan Bajwa.
"Lanka got a lot of appreciation but lack of good promotion again killed a film which I am very proud of. Not angry, but disappointed," Manoj wrote on Twitter.
The film released on December 9.
