The bracelet designed by pop diva Lady Gaga for the victims of the Japan earthquake and
tsunami has raised over $250,000 in just 48 hours.
The Poker Face hit maker, who announced she was making the Japan Prayer Bracelet shortly after the country was hit with the natural disaster, took to Twitter to announce how
much the wristband had raised, emphasising that it's important we help.
Gaga's red and white bracelet includes the message We Pray For Japan as well as a claw logo on it, which is associated with the 24-year-old star.
The eccentric singer is one of many celebrities that have shown their support for Japan after it was hit by the 8.9 magnitude quake on Friday.
Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Chris Brown and P Diddy have taken to Twitter to express their concerns for Japan, and encouraging people to pray for the devastated country.
"Remember as you go about your day please pray for Japan and if you are able, text REDCROSS to 90999 to donate $10 to Japan's emergency relief," tweeted Perry, while her R&B star pal Rihanna wrote, "Let's continue to keep the people of Japan in our prayers! We are all heartbroken for you..."
