London:
Pop diva Lady Gaga says that her music career is her priority in life and will have no qualms if she remains single forever.
The 24-year-old singer, who bagged three Grammys this year, is riding high on the success in her career and insisted she will prefer staying single than make sacrifices for the sake of a relationship, reported Contactmusic.
"Women have to make decisions and it's the toughest thing ever. Is it a man or is it a career? I was with a man once who couldn't understand that other things could come first. I tried not to let them but then I was just unhappy, I had to break away.
"I know I run the risk of being alone forever, but it's the price I'll have to pay," said Gaga.
The 'Poker Face' hitmaker refuses to compromise on her professional life and believes that unlike guys, her music will never disappoint her.
"I'd never let any man come before my career. I guess there's some fear inside of me which makes me this way.
"My music is never going to roll over in bed one morning and tell me that it doesn't love me any more. I have a big problem with rejection," added Gaga.
