Pop star Lady Gaga, who iscurrently in New Zealand for her Born This Way Ball tour,suffered concussion after she was accidentally hit on thehead with a giant pole by one of her backing dancers.
The 26-year-old You and I hitmaker was performing onstage while attached to a rope hung over a vertically placedmetal pole.
When one of her backing dancers picked the pole up andwas turning it from its vertical position to carry it offhorizontally, Gaga raised her head and the pole came crashingdown on her, reported TMZ online.
She later admitted to the audience that she had hitherself.
"I want to apologise. I did hit my head and I think I mayhave concussion. But don't you worry, I will finish thisshow," she said.
Gaga has already performed in South Korea,Hong Kong,Japan, Taiwan, Philippines, Thailand and Singapore. Herconcert in Indonesia was cancelled after Islamic hardlinersthreatened violence if the popstar performed.
