Lady Gaga, Taylor Kinney Are 'Taking a Break.' Read Her Instagram Post

Los Angeles: Singer Lady Gaga and her fiance Taylor Kinney have reportedly split after being together for five years.

"They want to keep it private. It's heartbreaking," a source told reported E! online.

On Instagram, Lady Gaga wrote that she and Taylor Kinney are taking a break from their relationship:

Taylor and I have always believed we are soulmates. Just like all couples we have ups and downs, and we have been taking a break. We are both ambitious artists, hoping to work through long-distance and complicated schedules to continue the simple love we have always shared. Please root us on. We're just like everybody else and we really love each other.

Last week, on Taylor Kinney's birthday, Lady Gaga was photographed without her engagement ring. When she performed at an orphanage in Mexico earlier this week, she was once again spotted without the ring.
