Los Angeles:
Pop star Lady Gaga's infamous meat dress is all set to go on public display at America's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame museum.
The 25-year-old shocked her fans by attending the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards in an outfit made entirely of raw animal flesh, the Hollywood reporter said.
The dress, which was hand-sewn by Franc Fernandez and Nichola Formichetti, has been preserved and is now set to become part of the Women Who Rock: Vision, Passion, Power exhibition at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in
Cleveland, Ohio.
The flesh-made frock, which was named Best Fashion Statement of 2010 by Time magazine, will go on display from today.
It will be featured alongside Madonna's bustier from her Blond Ambition tour.
Lady Gaga had previously said that the dress has many meanings and is not intended to hurt anyone's feelings.
"Well, it is certainly no disrespect to anyone that is vegan or vegetarian. As you know, I am the most judgment-free human being on the earth. However, it has many interpretations for me this evening. If we don't stand up for what we believe in and if we don't fight for our rights, pretty soon we're going to have as much rights as the meat on our own bones. And, I am not a piece of meat," she said.
