Pop star Lady Gaga's The FameMonster has been named the top selling album in 2010.Gaga's album, a repackaged version of her earlierdisc, The Fame, with an additional eight tracks, sold 5.8million copies across the globe, according to the United WorldChart, compiled by website mediatraffic.de.
Rap artiste Eminem, who made a comeback with his albumRecovery earned the second stop with his disc selling 5.7million copies. Eminem was followed by Canadian teen singingsensation Justin Bieber, who came in third with 5.6 millionsales of his My World albums.
Taylor Swift, Lady Antebellum, Susan Boyle, Black EyedPeas, Michael Buble, Sade and Alicia Keys rounded off thetop-ten list.
Gaga, meanwhile, took to twitter to thank her fans formaking The Fame Monster the biggest selling album of theyear.
