Radha Mangeshkar is the youngest daughter of Hridaynath Mangeshkar

Radha, niece of legendary playbacksinger Lata Mangeshkar and youngest child of musicianHridaynath Mangeshkar, says pressure, expectation andcomparison will always come with her last name.
The 31-year-old singer is the third generation croonerfrom the Mangeshkar family.
"The pressure is definitely on and around meconstantly.
I will not deny it and be humble. There is lot of pressure,expectation and comparison that I face," Radha told PTI here.But if the surname has a down side, it has good onetoo.
It fetches work at least initially.
"The surname has definitely helped me because of itpeople automatically recognise you. Few years or it was kindof easy for next generation to enter (industry). But today itsnot easy. The family name, backgrounder doesn't matter todaymuch," she said.
As Marathi is her mother tongue, she is well-versedwith the Maharashtrian culture and music sensibilities. Radhahas been singing and performing Marathi songs with herfather and teacher Hridyanath Mangeshkar since childhood.
"I perform mostly in Marathi, I started mysinging career in Marathi. So I am now comfortable in it andby the grace of God have done some good work. I do live showsin Marathi and I am quite comfortable in that," Radha said.
On whether she would love to lend her voice for Hindisongs, she said, "I would love to sing for Hindi films butthere are no such offers. If something interesting comes myway and I like it, I will do it."
"I always follow advice of my father. And I have onlylearnt from him. He is my guru. Whatever I am today is becauseof him and his teachings," she said.
