The makers of the upcoming filmThe Legend of Michael Mishra are leaving no stone unturnedto get the perfect look for Arshad Warsi, who will play thetitle role in the movie.
The film, a comedy directed by Manish Jha also starsAditi Rao Hydari, Boman Irani and his son Kayoze Irani, whowas last seen in filmmaker Karan Johar's Student of TheYear.
Film's producer Kishor Arora decided to order 12custom-made wigs worth Rs 5 lakh spanning styles that wouldfit within the look parameter, ordered from Germany. When thewigs arrived, Arshad alongwith the director and producer haddiscussion and conducted trials before they chose the rightone.
"We had a very specific brief in mind for Arshad'scharacter. For that look, we needed to have every aspect ofthe look bang on, especially the hair. We asked a famousGerman wigmaker to make 10-12 customised wigs for us on thebasis of our brief," Kishor Arora, Eye Candy Films said.
"Once those came in, we spent time with ManishMalhotraand Arshad on shortlisting the look and finally agreed on theone we've finally used," he said.The team has been taking extra care to ensure thatArshad's look is not revealed. They have banned the use ofcell phones, iPads by the crew on the set.
