Game of Thrones star Lena Headey was on Jimmy Kimmel Live a couple of days ago and ended up insulting her host over a goblet of wine - she's good at it since she drinks wine a lot and insults people all the time on the hit TV show.
Lena, who plays the incestuous Cersei Lannister on Game of Thrones, tossed off her well-chosen barbs, each with a painful sting at the end, with a glint in her eye and a curl of her lip in her best Cersei manner.(Also Read: Queen to visit Game Of Thrones set)
Her insults were calculated to hurt:
"That's a lovely tie. It's a shame it's around such a worthless neck."
"So, you host a television programme. How fun. You should enjoy it while it lasts."
"You have such a way with words. I wonder if you'll be so clever when I have your tongue ripped from your throat."
Jimmy tried:
"Is it a challenge to play Cersei or do you naturally suck the life out of every room you enter?"
Oh, he tried hard:
"It's always so nice having you on the show. It's a pity that this is the last time."
But was demolished by Lena's final salvo, an arrow to the heart:
"I believe your wife must say that to you every night."
