Mumbai:
In the film industry they say, the show must go on. And staying true to the spirit, Pamela Chopra, the late Yash Chopra's widow attended a puja on the premises of her family's production house to signal the beginning of the company's next project.
Pamela Chopra was spotted attending the traditional ceremony at the Yash Raj Films studio. The puja marked the start of director Abbas Ali Zafar's new film Gunday.
The cast of the film including Arjun Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Sushant Singh attended the puja. Ranveer Singh, who also plays the lead in the movie, was missing - as he was busy shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next movie Ram Leela.
A source said, "It has been a custom for Yashji and Pam to attend the mahurat of every film before it starts. It was an emotional moment for her to attend the puja without her husband by her side for the first time."
The shooting of the film commences in Mumbai and will then proceed to Kolkata.
