Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has kept her date with the Cannes Film Festival for the 11th time. But this time she is there with her daughter, Aaradhya. Aishwarya will be walking the red carpet for the official film premieres a little later today. Little Aaradhya was back at the hotel while her mother, wrapped in six yards of chikankari by Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla, attended the high profile amFAR event, chaired by actor Alec Baldwin. She also contributed an Abu-Sandeep piece to the auction which raised a total of $11 million for AIDS research. Read: Dress, not sari, for Ash's first day out in Cannes
Ash says she's coping well with motherhood. Speaking exclusively to NDTV, she said: "Hectic is redefined with every changing phase of my life but it is just blissful, it is amazing and I am just so happy."
When asked if bringing Aaradhya to Cannes made the trip more hectic, she said: "I am not complaining, this has been the way of life for so long now. From your adult life, from the time you have stepped out and get working, multi-tasking, working round the clock. People talk about sleepless nights but that's the way of life for us anyway. Can't be complaining when it comes to your baby. No way, no way."

Ash's constant visits to Cannes have given her the distinction of being the only Indian celebrity people here recognise. But, with Aaradhya in tow this time, Ash has had a first encounter with the festival, a decade after she made her very first appearance on the Croisette.
