London:
Following in the footsteps of fellow popstars like Beyonce Knowles and Britney Spears, Lily Allen is set to launch her first fashion line in collaboration with designer Nadia Jones.
The 25-year-old popstar who already has a vintage store Lucy In Disguise to her credit, will release the collection under the same moniker, reported Contactmusic.
Designer Kim Jones' sister Nadia Jones will work on the collection with Allen, merging details from the vintage pieces in the store with their own designs.
UK department store Harvey Nichols will act as the first place to stock the clothes, which are expected be named after people and places, with designs including the Fortnums and the Capone.
The musician had recently offered her fans a chance to spend an evening at her store and take home a free handbag as part of charity Twit Relief.
"What shall I offer up for Twitrelief? Am struggling to come up with something interesting . Ok how about, a handbag of your choice from my personal collection and a boozy evening at Lucy in Disguise for you and 4 friends. You'd all get free hire of an amazing dress. Each and I might throw in dinner too (sic)" wrote Allen on Twitter.
