New Delhi:
The 22-year-old actress portrays the fairytale heroine in forthcoming movie The Brothers Grimm: Snow White and while she says the character is recognisable from the original story, she now has a tougher edge.
Lily said: "Our film is based on the Brothers Grimm version. It's going to be exciting but it's also going to bring back a lot of memories."She's the fairytale princess everyone knows but also very much a fighter. She teams up with the dwarves and learns how to fence, how to do acrobatics ... She really gets to kick some butt in the end."
Lily admits she still finds it hard to believe she has been cast as one of her childhood heroines.
She added in an interview with Total Film magazine: "I still wake up every day going, 'Really? Am I really Snow White?' I grew up idolising her.
"I literally feel like I'm walking into a fairytale every day."
