New York:
Is there no end to Lindsay Lohan's troubles? The Mean Girls star was turned away from from one of the flashest Oscar parties in Hollywood after she landed up without an invitation.
Even more insulting, the party was hosted by Untitled Entertainment, the agency that represents Lindsay, as well as Madonna and Demi Moore. Lindsay was denied entry by the doormen, despite an intervention by True Grit actor Josh Brolin, showing just how far the troubled actress' star has fallen.
Lindsay, who was recently charged with felony grand theft for allegedly stealing a gold necklace from a jewellery store, showed up with her brother Michael and her security team at 11 pm on Sunday night. She was confident of getting into the party because it was being held at the Beverly Hills home of Guy Oseary, who own Untitled Entertainment.
The doormen remained unmoved by the connection and told her that she could not join the party and while she was pleading her case, Josh Brolin rolled up and was shot down in his gallant attempt to help.
Brolin greeted her with a kiss on the cheek and when Lindsay asked him to help her get inside, he tried to reason with gatekeepers, but they firmly held their ground.
Brolin reacted by saying, "Don't you know who this is?" The door people replied that they did, indeed, know who she was but she still wasn't going to make it in.
Even Brolin's insistence of "She's with me" fell on deaf ears. The actor finally went inside without her, leaving the 24-year-old star to proclaim, "This is so humiliating."
Lindsay eventually gave up and headed to James Franco's post-Oscars party that was attended by almost nobody, including host Franco himself, who hopped on a plane back to Yale where he had a paper on Byron due
Spokespersons for Lindsay, Madonna, Moore and Brolin did not respond.
