New York:
Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan is planning a "low key" party to celebrate the expected end of her house arrest and her 25th birthday, her mother Dina Lohan says.
The 'Mean Girls' star, who was sentenced to house arrest in May in lieu of jail time after allegedly stealing a necklace from a jewellery store, is planning to celebrate with close friends and family on July 2, New York Daily News reported.
"She's staying in Los Angeles and planning a quiet birthday dinner. It will be very low key with family and close friends. And then she plans to return to her community service right away on July 4," said her mother Dina.
She also slammed reports that her daughter planned to join ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson and fellow actress Chloe Sevigny at a Hamptons bash.
"Hopefully she'll get back to New York soon to celebrate with her grandmother, who's 85 and doesn't really like to fly. But there's no party in the Hamptons," Dina said.
