Even as Lindsay Lohan undergoes ahouse arrest term, her estranged father Michael is seekingtreatment after a cancer scare.
The troubled actress urged Michael, 51, to seektreatment after learning 'suspicious' growths had been foundin his colon.
He was today spotted leaving a medical centre in LosAngeles after having the growths removed, reported Daily Mailonline.
The reality TV star said that it was his famousdaughter who encouraged him to get the treatment when shevisited him shortly before her incarceration.
"I told Lindsay on Sunday and she said 'get thissorted out now dad'," said Michael who lost his father Richardto colon cancer two years ago.
"My whole family, my boys, Dina everybody has beenunbelievable. In terrible times, the family comes together,"he added.
Lindsay is currently under house arrest at her home inVenice, California, after pleading no contest to stealing agold necklace from a jeweller. She will also complete 240hours of community service.
