Mumbai : Lisa Ray is excited about visiting India for the first time after her marriage to management consultant Jason Dehni.
"Leaving for first trip to India as a newlywed. Speaking at the 'Living with Cancer' Symposium in Delhi on Nov 9, offering living proof," Lisa tweeted Monday night.
The Indian-Canadian actress, 40, exchanged vows with Dehni October 20 in Napa Valley.
Lisa, who fought multiple myeloma, a cancer of plasma cells, is now leading a healthy life.
She underwent stem cell transplant and was declared cancer-free in 2010.
Ever since then, she has spoken widely about conquering the disease and the magic of stem cell technology.
