In a series of tweets, Lisa, 43, addressed various cancer-related queries and spoke about her grueling battle against the disease. She said 'hope, support and humour' helped her keep depression at bay and to be cured.
The actress stressed on the need for a strong support system and developing the right 'attitude.'
When asked about the preventive measures that could be taken, she wrote:
Lisa was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a rare form of blood cancer in 2009. A year later, she was declared a cancer survivor. Her health improved tremendously.
The actress will next be seen on screen in the romantic musical Ishq Forever.
