London:
Hollywood star Liv Tyler has spoken out against air-brushing photos of models and actresses to hide their flaws, calling it 'manipulated' photography.
According to reports, the Lord of the Rings star has said that it is time that the practice is banned.
"I know what people look like, and I see what pictures look like before they're airbrushed my own and those of my friends and every image is so manipulated," said the 33-year-old actress.
"They'll take a hair off your arm and get rid of a pore or a freckle on your face," she added.
Tyler said she finds natural imperfections beautiful as they are a part of a person's identity.
"Personally, I find imperfections and flaws charming and beautiful. I like it that all people don't look the same," said Tyler.
