The makers of Bodyguard, haveadopted a novel way to publicise their film wherein any localcan become a bodyguard for a day to both the lead stars SalmanKhan and Kareena Kapoor separately while they travel tovarious cities for the movie promotions.
Directed by Siddique and produced by brother-in-law AtulAgnihotri, the film will see Salman essaying the role ofKareena's bodyguard in the film as her life is under threat.
According to sources, one can be Bodyguard to Salmanand Kareena for a day in every city they travel and protectthem through the day. The idea is to make people live a lifeof a bodyguard. Selected person will be a shadow to Salman orKareena in each city they travel to.
"We are traveling to around 15 cities. Both Salman andKareena individually will be traveling and promoting the film.In every city they would have a local bodyguard who would betheir 'personal bodyguard' for the day. As a concept it is aextremely enriching experience," Agnihotri said.
Bodyguard, a remake of 2010 Malayalam movie of thesame name, is set to hit cinema-houses on August 31.
